Joining PEIWOA provides the opportunity to connect with other woodlot owners, forestry contractors, researchers, specialists and entrepreneurs for more informed stewardship.
Memberships, our primary source of revenue, enable PEIWOA to grow and move forward. Please encourage other woodlot owners to join so we can help even more people add value to woodlands and wood products.
There are two categories of membership, Active (voting) and Associate (non-voting). Active members must be at least 18 years and own at least one hectare (about 2.5 acres) of land with woodlot. All members can access our events and resources about woodlot management and land use planning specific to PEI woodlands. PEIWOA acts as an information exchange through this website, its facebook page, workshops and quarterly newsletter. PEIWOA is also a regular contributor to the regional Atlantic Forestry Review magazine.
Memberships are $25.00 for one year or $40.00 for two years. Members of the PEI Federation of Agriculture (PEIFA) or the National Farmers Union (NFU) receive a two-year PEIWOA membership at the reduced rate of $20.00. To become a member of the PEIWOA, or to renew your membership, please fill out the form below. If you would like additional information please contact us.
